WildTrack awarded Otter Oscar for research paper!

In our last blog post, we showcased our most recent publication on otter monitoring.

We just found out that this publication has won our research team an Otter Oscar! No red carpets for us, just a muddy riverbank and a chance to help protect these gorgeous animals in their natural environments. What more could we ask for?! We applaud the work of the International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF) for their excellent outreach on behalf of otters everywhere.

Special kudos to Larissa Slaney and Fred Kistner for their innovative fieldwork, and to Asaf Ben-David for his tracking expertise and amazing artwork.
